Whoa!

So, we actually played two sessions and its going well. I need a little time to edit etc to upload the game, but its been fun. Here's hoping this one goes on for a while!. Cheers

Well along with the bush fires in Australia, Illness, partner needs and Covid-19 its taken this long to get a serious game up and running. So, without tempting fate, we plan on starting a first edition Dungeons and Dragons game this coming Tuesday. Game on!

A quick hello

Hi all, well the year is underway and we are almost at the end of the first 6th of it! Time sure does fly! Its taken the group a while to reform and we are hoping to start anew. I created a 'what would you like' questionnaire to see what would interest the players. This time its a very dark fantasy, with aspects of horror, rebellion, invasion , cults, the world, Akkis, has entered a new dark age. Hopefully the software gods and scheduling gods take pity on us and sometime next or the week after I can put up their first session. Until then...Game on!

Fellowship

Hi there any who watch or listen to this. Its been a while since our last game update.  Shortly after our last recorded game hit the blog us New Zealand players were informed of a very sad event,  One of our players, Matt who played Niri, sadly took his own life. His mate Will had to break the news and deal with so much more than we did. Still the very sobering news sent out ripples that we all needed to deal with. For me, being a counselor in real life, I thought it would be easier but... life ( and the things that happen therein) don't always run how we think they will. Suffice to say it was a big impact on me ( and my work) and through the support of my husband and work colleagues I  arrived in a place that I can start to make sense of things now. I felt the group needed to break from what we were doing so we could all attend to those things we needed to and especially for Will to do all he needed to. So mid November we gathered one more time, with two new players joining us.  What you are about to listen to is the last session before Matt's decision and the next session. Where ever you are Matt thanks for being a friend and a gamer.. roll those dice with Dave and Gary...

And so here is the next step.. and off they go to do a bit more sniffing around...

And so we enter unfamiliar ground,,, the awesome heights of second level! Woot!..and a name chance The Bold and Brave

And so the group re-enter the underground complex to find things arn't what they thought they'd be...
