Yowza! Its been too long

So ... in the interim have tried several different systems, settled back on B/X Advanced.  Now the players move into Advanced Dungeons and Dragons and are back in Barra, this time the Empire of Kam. Character generation for half the group last week, hope to play out the first adventure in a couple of days.. more then
Game on!

So...that game has come to a screeching halt after only one session.  Trying to set up a new world using a more mainstream system, hope this attracts more players. Game On!

So we start off slow and steady trying out the Swords and Six Siders RPG system, seems to flow pretty easy ... lets see if it's robust enough to support a campaign!  Game on!

So after looking further I discovered this little gem called Swords and six siders (available from Precis Intermedia). I am liking what I see and planning on using this in my next fantasy campaign After the Fall.  Anyway when I finally get a group together we'll report back on how it plays. Cheers and Game on!

Idle hands

So, had a lot of time on my hands after finishing the Barra game and that gave me the opportunity to start considering what to do next. Apart from playing in Dave's game in Callimterra and considering many alternative rule sets I have settled on something familiar - no surprise there!  B/X Advanced rule set.  It is by and large a continuation of B/X into Advanced Dungeons and Dragons but without all of its rule complexities.  It introduces some new ideas -funny enough things  i was considering implementing in my next game.  I have gone a little further and , inline with the theme of the story - after the Fall of the world - house ruled some more and am interested to see what the players will make of it.  More later...Cheers and Game On!
